So don't be too surprised if you don't see much of me around. I'm around most places on the internet as Tephra or Tephralynn if someone managed to get there before me. I have started a craft blog, Omnifariously Knotty, which is so far all knitting for slim minis. That knitting thing is probably what most doll owners remember me for. I have four dolls currently: Anjeni Namid wa Taima - Normal skin Bobobie March Namid Dyani wa Sahale - Light tan/coffee Resinsoul Mei (Anjeni's mom) Regina Constanze De Rosa (Rico) - Normal skin Dollzone Feilan Talar Dyani wa Takoda - Light tan/coffee Featherfall Iruhi head/Resinsoul Rong body (Namid's sister)

Hello Tephra and welcome! Hopefully you wont lurk too much. I shall endeavor to make sure I am not mistaken for dead. hi Five for knitters and Collectors! *tucks that 5th DPN behind ear to free a hand for hi-5-ing* Dolls have expanded my knitting in new and surprisingly tiny directions! I never would have thought I would find size 0 needles to be too big. Hi and welcome! Can't knit worth 'blank' but I can crochet! I think I've seen you around a few places... My crochet is not yet tiny enough for my dolls, I suspect I need both more practice, or bigger dolls. Or both, both would be better.

I know right! I have a hard time using size 2 and always feel like im going to break the size 0s..and they still feel to big XD I used to think size 4 was pretty tiny, now I'm comfortable with 4/0 (most of the time anyway). Still haven't managed the 6/0 set I have, and I'm not entirely happy working with 5/0 though I do have a project on them (that I'm ignoring because it's boring). I wish I had more very, very fine yarn options though, locally. I like being able to see and handle things before buying them.

Keep at it and you'll be ready for the revival of "Coraline"

Keep at it and you'll be ready for the revival of "Coraline" I think Althea Crome named her site Bugknits not because of the scale of her knittng but because it's so close to being bugnuts. But who knows, maybe those 11/0 needles will end up here someday.... Though the thought of needles only one quarter of a millimeter in diameter puts a severe WTF on my face, I haven't even finished a project on the 1mm 5/0s yet!
