The Craft Corner! For all those who use arts and crafts in relation to their BJD's!
Whether someone draws their Dolls, Photographs them or just makes them crafty little toys and trinkets, We want to know!
There is a wide variety of 'art' styles and medias out there and I want to see how YOU incorporate your collections into it! Some people like to sculpt parts, or BJD's entirely. Some like to sculpt little friends, toys and accessories. Maybe you prefer jewelry making for them, or sewing clothes and toys? Perhaps you knit them things! Are doing painting and sketches of them more your style? Well what ever it is, here is a place for you to share your creations! The critters of the Violet Forest want to see what you do with and/or for your BJd's to make life more interesting for them, and yourself.
Wow! I am really loving the guitar. I sew and crochet for Cordie. Her wig is crochet and I made everything she is wearing except for the shoes. Cordie is 15cm tall, so I love gathering and making props. Her room is a Mini Lunch box that I papered with scrapbook paper-much cheaper than doll house wallpaper- it is her travel house. I love what you have done for cordie Richila! So cute and adorable I particularly love her leggings :3
This was all done today during a livestream I was hosting.
-rings are from spare metal from the hair clips (there are two, one for each side of the head) -hair clips are wings from michaels put on lil homemade hair clips i jigged up. -necklace pendant was also from michaels, same pack as the wings i believe, and the wire is what I have around for my sculpting stuff.
I also made Jmes shirt there today but I'm not overly fond of it yet so no full shot of it just yet :3 her pants and Jaspers shirt (also not shown) where hand made a while back... just finding updated pictures now..
Thanks Antibus! The fabric for those leggings was a scrap from a friend and one of my favorite fabrics ever. I love making hats for my girl. Felt is so much fun to use and comes in so many colors. I get my felt from www.joggles.com it works much better than the craft felt-it has a higher wool percentage so it can be wet and blocked as well.
I did this for a swap. Completely hand sewn. Haven't done that in a long while. I think i was pretty happy once I figured out how to get metal and fabric to work together. Oneiro says make more of the plushie cause he wants a blue one.
